Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Furniture Carpenter to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, installing, and repairing custom furniture and joinery items according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Read and understand furniture, joinery, and technical drawings.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, MDF, veneer, laminates, and other materials.
Manufacture custom furniture including wardrobes, cabinets, tables, counters, doors, wall panels, and other joinery items.
Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Ensure accurate dimensions, alignment, finishing, and overall quality of furniture products.
Carry out installation of furniture and joinery works at project sites when required.
Conduct repairs, modifications, and adjustments to existing furniture.
Coordinate with supervisors, designers, and other trades to ensure smooth execution of work.
Minimize material wastage and use materials efficiently.
Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards in the workshop and project sites.
Identify and report any quality issues, material defects, or technical problems to the supervisor.
Complete assigned work within the required timelines and quality standards.

Requirements

Minimum 5-8 years of experience as a Furniture Carpenter or Joinery Carpenter.
Experience in custom furniture manufacturing and interior fit-out/joinery works is preferred.
Good knowledge of woodworking materials, hardware, fittings, and finishing methods.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and measurements.
Experience using woodworking machinery and carpentry hand tools.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team.
Physically fit and able to work in a workshop and/or project site environment.
Candidates with UAE/GCC experience will be preferred.
