Junior Accountant | Trading & Distribution
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with reporting and reconciliations in a fast-paced trading and distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements.
- Record and track customer payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate receivable records.
- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts regularly.
- Prepare and post bank entries and reconcile accounts in AED, USD, and other currencies.
- Support accounting across multiple lines of business and cost centers, including cost allocation and basic reporting.
- Assist the Senior Accountant in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records and documentation.
- Provide support during internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and VAT requirements.
- Assist with ad-hoc accounting and finance tasks as required.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CMA qualification preferred.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably within trading or distribution companies.
- Familiarity with accounting software; experience with SAP Business One or other ERP systems is an advantage.
- Good understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
- Basic knowledge of VAT and multi-currency transactions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Capable of managing deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
