📢 We're Hiring – Technical Superintendent Engineer (TSI)

We are currently seeking a Technical Superintendent Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional with a strong background in vessel or industrial equipment management, who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

🛠 Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the technical operations, maintenance, and performance of assigned vessels or industrial systems.

Conduct troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, and operational issues and provide timely solutions.

Manage spare parts planning, ordering, inventory control, and cost optimisation, ensuring critical spares are always available.

Attend onboard for ship inspections, condition assessments, breakdown investigations, and performance evaluations.

Coordinate dry-docking, repairs, overhauls, and inspections as per operational schedules.

Ensure full compliance with international and UAE maritime regulations (IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM, Class requirements).

Liaise professionally with classification societies, flag authorities, port state authorities, shipyards, and external service providers.

Provide technical advice, guidance, and support to onboard crew during operations and emergencies.

Monitor and follow up on day-to-day vessel operations, including machinery performance, reports, consumptions, and defect lists.

Prepare detailed technical reports, budgets, repair plans, and performance reviews.

Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures.

✅ Qualifications:

Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering (or equivalent).

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar superintendent / technical fleet role.

Strong knowledge of marine safety, environmental, and regulatory frameworks.

Excellent communication, reporting, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple vessels simultaneously.
